Prof Dennis Sandris Nielsen

Dennis’s research focusses on microbial behavior in complex environment, with particular focus on fermented foods and elucidating the association between the mammalian gut microbiome, diet and host physiology. He is a Professor at the Department of Food Science, University of Copenhagen and has a background in Food Science (MSc, 2002) and Food Microbiology (PhD, 2006) both from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Denmark.
