Pinaki, a Pediatric Infectious Disease specialist, has contributed to childhood diseases affecting populations worldwide. He has directed many clinical and basic research projects and health initiatives with funding from the NIH and Child Health Research Foundation, and various funding agencies in the U.S., U.K, and India. His work has been published in Nature, the Lancet, and NEJM. He studies microbiota and impact of environmental exposures and diet on health of women and children and utilizes large cohorts for longitudinal assessments.
