Ainur  is a medical doctor in the field of internal medicine. From 2009 she worked as leading research scientist in the National Center for Biotechnology of Republic of Kazakhstan and since August 2011 she has been invited to Center for Life Sciences, Nazarbayev University, Astana, as Chief research scientist and Director Department for Organization and Development of Genomic and Personalized Medicine. Her research interests include genomic research in biomedicine, molecular, genomic and personalized medicine, public health and health care, methods of next generation sequencing and basics of bioinformatics and analysis of sequence data.
